Rutgers Law School to Launch Cannabis Law, Business Certificate

Rutgers Law School plans to launch a six-month certificate in cannabis law and business in January 2023, the New Jersey school said Tuesday.

The programs is aimed at non-J.D. students and legal professionals, Rutgers said. The full-length certificate will cost $2,695, and individual modules will be able to be purchased for between $600 and $850.

The curriculum of the non-credit program will specialize in the Garden State’s legal cannabis industry, according to the university.

Rutgers said applications are expected to open in October.
