Remediation Company Sues Toxic Site’s Trust for $3 Million (1)

An environmental remediation company sued a trust fund in the Southern District of Indiana for allegedly breaching the parties’ contract and failing to pay for cleanup work.

McMillan McGee Corp., also known as Mc2, was tasked with removing contaminants from Third Site, a polluted property northwest of Indianapolis. The trust that funded the work refused to allow the company to finish once it became clear the site had been re-contaminated, Mc2 said in a complaint filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
