NYC Property Tax Challengers Plan Appeal in Case Setback (2)

A group mounting a constitutional challenge to New York City’s much-criticized property tax system said Thursday that it would appeal an action by New York’s highest court rejecting the case.

The state Court of Appeals, in a brief order Sept. 15, denied a bid to revive the challenge by Tax Equity Now New York LLC (TENNY) after an intermediate-level appeals court dismissed it in February.
