NFL, Raiders Franchise Win Appeal Over Team’s Move to Las Vegas

The National Football League and its teams have prevailed in another round of litigation brought by the city of Oakland, Calif., challenging the relocation of the Raiders franchise to Las Vegas.

A mid-level state court, California’s Second District Court of Appeal, ruled in favor of the NFL on Thursday. It rejected allegations that the move breached the league’s governing documents or unjustly enriched its 32 teams at Oakland’s expense.
