NFL Brief Waves Off Claims by Miffed Saints Ticketholders

New Orleans Saints fans irked by their team’s January 20 loss in a conference championship game with the Los Angeles Rams have no grounds to sue over a pivotal blown call, the National Football League argued in a new court filing.

The ticketholders’ frustration and disappointment is understandable but they have no standing to sue over those feelings in a court of law, the NFL and league commissioner Roger Goddell argued in an April 2 motion to dismiss the class claims.
