NBA’s Zion Williamson Beats Ex-Agent’s Florida Contract Suit

The NBA’s Zion Williamson won dismissal, for now, of breach of contract claims by his former marketing agent, after a Florida appeals court found Prime Sports Marketing LLC didn’t show the New Orleans Pelicans’ power forward is subject to suit in Florida.

Prime Sports conceded in its complaint that Williamson is a resident of North Carolina, and didn’t allege that Williamson failed to perform acts that the contract required to be performed in Florida, the court said.
