MLB’s Minnesota Twins Again Face Fired Scout’s Age Bias Claims

The Minnesota Twins baseball team will face reinstated age discrimination claims by a 59-year old international scout who was laid off, after the Minnesota Court of Appeals ruled Monday that he should have been allowed to depose the club’s owners and president.

The trial court jumped the gun when it dismissed Howard Norsetter’s suit without allowing him to depose Twins owner Bill Pohlad, owner and executive chairperson Jim Pohlad, and president and CEO Dave St. Peter, the court said.
