Former Senate Intelligence Committee staffer Aaron Cooper has joined Jenner & Block LLP in Washington as special counsel, the firm announced.
Cooper served as lead investigative counsel for the Democrats in the bipartisan investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. elections, and also advised the committee on national security oversight, foreign influence operations, and election security.
Having experience with Congress as well as a background in national security and cybercrime will allow Cooper to assist clients across a variety of practice areas and legal issues, he said.
