High Court Lets Ruling on Rams’ Relocation to Los Angeles Stand

The U.S. Supreme Court declined to weigh in on a Missouri Court of Appeals ruling requiring the Los Angeles Rams to litigate, rather than arbitrate, its dispute with St. Louis over the team’s 2016 relocation to Los Angeles.

The Rams argued that the state court’s decision should be overturned because its ruling is “plainly wrong” under U.S. Supreme Court precedent interpreting the Federal Arbitration Act, and is an example of judicial hostility to arbitration that the FAA was designed to counteract.
