Ruemmler, global chair of the white-collar defense and investigations practice at Latham & Watkins in Washington, will leave private practice later this month to join the financial services giant as its new global head of regulatory affairs. Ruemmler, 48, will also become a member of Goldman’s management committee.
Ruemmler didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment about her decision to leave Latham for Goldman .
