Former XFL Owner Hits Fired CEO With Breach Claims of His Own

Former XFL owner Vince McMahon fired back with breach of contract claims of his own in Ex-CEO Oliver Luck’s wrongful termination suit in a federal Connecticut court, saying, among other things, that Luck hired a wide receiver despite his past sexual assault problems.

McMahon and Alpha Entertainment LLC, the company he created to operate the XFL, allege Luck breached his contract by violating league policies. He also allegedly abandoned his duties after the XFL was forced to suspend its first season in March 2020 to comply with pandemic-related venue restrictions, according to a Thursday filing in the U.S. District Court ...
