Tinder Ex-Executive Appeals Defamation Suit Ruling (Corrected)

A former executive at Tinder Inc. has appealed an order denying her motion to toss a defamation lawsuit brought against her by Tinder’s former chief executive officer, a man she accused of sexual assault, according to a filing in the Ninth Circuit.

Rosette Pambakian appealed a court order denying as moot a bid to dismiss the lawsuit based on free speech protection. The defamation and conspiracy claims brought against her must be arbitrated, the court said.
