Dollar Tree Fined $104K for Repeated Storage, Exit Violations

Dollar Tree Stores Inc. faces a $104,192 OSHA fine for repeated improper storage of materials at its Rainbow City, Alabama, store, according to the federal safety agency.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued Dollar Tree a repeat citation after an inspection that ran from June to December 2019.

“Employers are responsible for ensuring that materials are stored in a safe manner that does not expose workers to injuries,” said OSHA Birmingham Area Director Ramona Morris. “It is unacceptable that this employer continues to subject workers to the same hazards previously identified and cited at other Dollar Tree locations.”
