Dollar Tree Fined $100,000 for Stockroom Hazards in Florida

Discount retailer Dollar Tree Stores Inc. faces more than $100,000 in fines for allegedly allowing tall, unstable piles of merchandise to block an emergency exit in one of its Florida stores.

Boxes of merchandise were stacked more than 7 feet high in the stockroom of a Dollar Tree store in West Palm Beach, Fla., according to a citation released June 19 by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration.
