A vendor for the Los Angeles Dodgers failed to deliver 42,000 bobblehead dolls with the likeness of former manager Tommy Lasorda and now the professional baseball club wants at least $175,000 in damages, according to a new lawsuit.
The diminutive dolls, often in the image of team players, have become a staple at Major League Baseball games as a way to increase attendance. The freebies also tend to buoy ticket demand on the secondary market.
