Conflict Behind Keller Lenkner Disqualification in Facebook Case

Keller Lenker was disqualified as plaintiffs’ counsel in a proposed consumer class action against Facebook Inc. because a new hire had previously worked on similar matters for the social media giant while at another firm, a federal judge said.

Judge Lucy H. Koh of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California announced the disqualification on July 15 but only now disclosed the attorney-client conflict as the reason for her decision.
