Attorneys should take advantage of well-being assistance programs available through local bar associations, an IRS Office of Chief Counsel attorney said.
Such programs are available for practicing attorneys who need help with mental health or substance abuse issues, Fred F. Murray, special counsel and professor-in-residence of the Office of Chief Counsel, said Friday at a virtual tax law conference hosted by the Federal Bar Association.
