Caesars continued contributing to the pension fund on behalf of its other Atlantic City properties after the Showboat’s 2014 closure, the Third Circuit said. The company therefore didn’t withdraw from the pension fund and doesn’t owe extra money for withdrawal liability, the court said in an Aug. 1 decision by Judge Thomas M. Hardiman.
