Bridgewater Associates LP, a hedge fund backed by billionaire Ray Dalio, saw former chief governance officer Nina Fletcher depart to join Yipit LLC as general counsel.
Fletcher, a former associate at Covington & Burling and Sullivan & Cromwell, spent nearly seven years in-house at Westport, Conn.-based Bridgewater, where she was most recently senior counsel. Fletcher confirmed in an email she started May 10 in her new legal chief role at Yipit.
The privately held company, which does business as YipitData, provides information to hedge funds, mutual funds, pension funds, and other institutional investors.
