Bird Scooter Photo Use Violates Copyright, Artist Says (1)

Bird Rides Inc. allegedly used a photo of an artist’s mural on its website and social media channels without permission, according to a federal lawsuit in California.

Photographer and filmmaker Noah Abrams claims the scooter rental company cropped his Instagram handle to conceal the infringement and refused to credit his work, according to the suit filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
