ANALYSIS: DOJ’s Failed DQ Motion Jeopardizes ‘Revolving Door’

The U.S. Department of Justice has failed to disqualify a lawyer from representing two states that are trying to block the merger of Sprint Corp. and T-Mobile Inc. based on his brief representation of the government eight years ago. The DOJ’s failed motion to join and disrupt the litigation still could have lasting consequences on its ability to obtain experienced private counsel.
