Village Inn Parent Gets Approval to Seek Vote on Bankruptcy Plan

American Blue Ribbon Holdings LLC, the parent of Village Inn and Bakers Square restaurants, won interim court approval for its Chapter 11 reorganization plan and disclosure statement, allowing the company to seek votes on the plan.

The Nashville, Tenn.-based company, which is majority-owned by Cannae Holdings Inc., will send the plan and disclosures to stakeholders for a vote beginning next week, according to documents filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Judge Laurie Selber Silverstein granted interim approval at a hearing Friday.
