USA Gymnastics Offers $215 Million to Sexual Abuse Victims

USA Gymnastics filed a Chapter 11 reorganization plan offering victims of sexual abuse two options—share $215 million to settle all claims or pursue litigation and collection on their own.

The sport’s governing body filed its proposed plan Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana. The filing comes a week after a group of victims asked the court to dismiss the Chapter 11 bankruptcy case.
