The U.S. Supreme Court declined to wade into a fight that arose after an Arkansas medical clinic’s attorneys refused to defend the company against a bankruptcy court suit.

Living Hope Southeast LLC’s equity holders urged the high court to resolve what they said was a miscarriage of justice when they were unable to terminate James E. Smith Jr. and his firm Smith Akins & Gladden PA as Living Hope’s bankruptcy attorneys.
