B. Riley Financial Inc. has brought on Tim Baker amid a hiring spree as the firm looks to expand its fixed income business.
Tim Baker, who was most recently with Imperial Capital LLC, will take on the role of managing director of special situations, according to a person familiar with the matter who asked not be identified discussing private information. Baker will work in the fixed-income division of the firm focusing on special situations, special purpose acquisition companies and post-reorganization equity trading. He joins with nearly two decades of trading experience.
