Morgan Stanley Financial Crimes Head Joins Winklevoss’s Gemini

Noah Perlman, who led Morgan Stanley’s efforts to detect and prevent financial crimes, is joining the Winklevoss twins’ Gemini Trust Co. as the cryptocurrency exchange’s chief compliance officer.

Perlman will oversee compliance and be responsible for anti-money laundering efforts, among other programs, Gemini said in a statement. He oversaw more than 350 people at Morgan Stanley’s anti-financial crimes group.
