Ex-Wells Fargo Worker Sues Over ‘Ominous’ COBRA Notices (1)

A former personal banker for Wells Fargo & Co. sued the bank in federal court in Florida, claiming it sends “threatening” and legally deficient notices informing former workers of their right to keep their health-care coverage.

The proposed class action, filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, takes aim at the COBRA notices Wells Fargo sends to notify former employees of their right to remain on the company health plan after leaving their jobs.
