Critical Credit Suisse Report Unsealed for Geneva Prosecutor

A critical report from Switzerland’s financial regulator into Credit Suisse Group AG’s failure to prevent fraud by one of its former wealth managers can now be accessed by Geneva prosecutors after a court lifted a seal on its use.

The bank last year had asked prosecutor Yves Bertossa to seal the report, which he was legally required to do after such a request, even thought it related to an ongoing investigation into Patrice Lescaudron.
