The CFPB asked a federal judge to force Florida-based telemarketer OLP.com to hand over documents that can help the bureau in an enforcement action against Utah-based credit repair company Progrexion Marketing Inc.
OLP.com allegedly funnels financially distressed consumers to Progrexion, which was sued by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in May 2019. OLP.com has only provided 24 documents after receiving a subpoena in January related to the Progrexion case, the bureau said in a petition filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
