Arizona Accepts Omni Mobile as First Fintech Sandbox Participant

A mobile payment startup, Omni Mobile Inc., is the first company accepted into Arizona’s fintech sandbox.

The company will test its product for two years by processing guest payments at a Wyndham Resort based in Tucson, the Arizona Attorney General’s office said in an Oct. 11 news release.

The resort’s guests who are Arizona residents will receive a disclosure agreement regarding the company’s participating in the sandbox, an explanation of the test product, a privacy notice and the ability to opt out of any information sharing with Wyndham, the AG’s office said.
