Postmates Workers Win More Time to Join $32 Million Class Accord

Postmates Inc. delivery drivers in California won an additional 30 days to join in the $32 million settlement in a class action alleging the gig company misclassified delivery drivers.

California Superior Court Judge Suzanne Bolanos will grant class counsel Lichten & Liss-Riordan PC’s motion to amend the final order, prompted by a settlement objector who said there wasn’t sufficient time to join. The court will extend the opt-in time for drivers and former drivers for the delivery service to file claims following a Wednesday hearing in San Francisco.
